The NTU Campus Crusade people came to our house todae! 16 of them in total! And it’s great to see them! It’s juz "the old frens r the best thingy" and it warms my heart to have them around! Reminds me of the good old times in LTI n dg meetings n mission trips together! After so many yrs after graduation, the feeling still so fresh. Guess after 3 yrs in NTUCC n all the camps n ministry events, we r quite a close knitted community. Things have changed, but still the same old people wif the same chemistry. It’s our 6th house warming party with our church small group ministry taking the lead. haha….frankly, our families ( aunts n uncles)  have yet to visit our house n i’m……..tinking when we will be free! well, when it comes, it comes….so be it! see how it goes…

AS USUAL,Rence & I pretty bz. Nothing New BAscially! Resurrection SUnday Over, n the choir preparing 4 BAptist Conference (May) and Annual June Camp(June). There’s 3 -day Marriage retreat in Aug n i wouldn’t want to miss it.But, again dependent on my leave.i wish i had more leave! haha…. Ter taking a small group n the group expanding so fast. After 2yrs, We’re off the pioneering stage n off to kinda comfortable stage that perhaps,it’s time to split n expand. We’re so blessed by these people so close to our hearts, that i thought if we were to pioneer another new group in near future, i will miss these folks! Guess, sometimes,for greater plans, good bye is EssEntial but never EaSy!

Christmas Cantata/ Musical in Dec. Tis time round, beside singing for the choir, both T & i will be part of the cast. n guess what, we are in the same scenes. haha….quite fun to act with ur hubby in the same scene!  Seriously, it’s a challenge to me as i’ve never acted in my entire life. Hope i don’t freak out during the musical.I’m reallie going by God’s grace n strength. Our music director kinda finished the  scripts n music scores. i thought it’s exciting to b a part of this musical. To be a part of God’s work! Commitment to take time to memorise our lines and songs n attend weekly practices .Tiring. But,for God, i guess it’s worth it! :) 

Anyway, my 2nd wedding ANNIversary coming soon! Time Fliez… haha….i wonder what’s in store.:Ppp Just let our hair down n elope to some place. sounds exciting!Actually Anytin fine as long as there’s no crowds of people! ….haha….Pls DUN call us on May 7th! Thanks pals!:)

Toy collection. Mickey moUse during the earlier days look more like mouse apparently, though ugly n rough workmanship compared to today’s modified refined look.

Good range of tinTin, robots, star wars, bears, astro boy etc…Rather quiet museum though. We were the onLi guests in the the entire place. Check out their basement restaurant–interesting cartoon concepts—Time does not permit us to visit. Perhaps will drop by some other time! 

i’ve been pretty bee zee at work these days n i wonder if it’s good or bad. Work seems to be overwhelming that i can’t seem to breathe. It drains me emotionally n mentally. and many times, i wanted to give it.  Yet,it comes with the sense of achievement whenever i taste the fruits of harvest. N i luv the feeling to know that i conquered the challenge. I luv the feeling of victory. i hate work. yet, i luv work.

i realise that i’m not a person who understands myself. i drift between 2 extreme ends. i’m an extrovert yet introvert. Emotional yet logical. Very soft-hearted yet very heartless too! All dependent  on my mood. Depends on which point u trigger. Guess, beside God, hubby is the person who understands me very well. And in this world, Rence is the onli one who manages me quite well. He’s quite good with his tatics in managing "me"- i would say. And i’m proud of it! Tink sometimes,i juz luv someone to be more stubborn than me and have a real good quarrel. If he gives in to me all the time, it’s like so BoRing. < Where’s what u believe in?> 

He gives in to me at times to pamper me. But, for certain issues he’s firm about, he’s juz heartless! haha. Even if u cry or whatever you do, nothing moves him. No means No. Yes means Yes. No argues approach. I realise that Terence is juz Terence. ANd i’m juz me.  Thru life, i’m juz gald tat he’s always there for me, always there for quarrels, romatic dinners,for the late night fights, for the morning hugs. Perhaps, with the thorns, the roses then look prettier! Thorns hurts, yet it protects too!

Anyway,it’s a joy to have good frens n family around us n we’re reallie blessed by their frenship n love.

Our romba on the  living’s room rustic silvery black floors chosen by hubby n designer. Quite a big risk we took. But hubby quite adverturous so we went on with the rustic black tiles. Turns out good! n we both luv it! N u can’t see the Dust so clearly! haha:P Perfect 4 the lazy leongs.

After numerous moppings and breathing in incredible dust particles, T & i shifted into our new place juz b4 CNY.

Great to have an asset under our own name and a place truly called our own. Guess it’s a sense of achievement and a part of growing up n having our own home n family. Most importantly, it’s a wonderful feeling to set ur own house rules rather than obey your parent’s "invisible" house rules.   haha….attribute to my rebellous nature or whatever…i’m kinda someone who enjoys my own personal space n lotsa freedom.

We ( the chorale) presented this song some time ago and i thought the words r especially beautiful. SOmehow, in life, we r so bz. Yet, in this short life, what do we seek to pursue and accomplish? Earthly treasure easily destroyed by storms of life or heavenly treaures of greater worth n significance?

Getting married, having kids, shifting house may be Big things in our lives. YEt, i know there’s far more greater things that God has called us to. A higher calling that is far more important.Christ has died for us for surely a far greater purpose.

Thru tough times, i looked upon the cross with my sin upon His shoulders and it strengthened my steps in the dark valley. In my tears and brokeness, the Lord comforted and restored me. I gained strength gradually and continued to journey on. No longer with uncertainly nor fear. But with love. courage and faith.

Life may be unfaithful. But God is always there. Faithfully. 

Hubby Leong into his Australian Open Final tennis game. SHA vs WIL. Whoever it is or whatever game it is…i can’t be bothered as long  as he remembers my existence as he driftz off into his tennis world!

Having stayed with my in laws for nearly 2 yrs, i realise that the Leongs (hubby’s) family is quite an interestingly "diverse"  family who pursues their diverse interests. Unlike my close knitted family ( the Tans) who goes to church, buffet, play, travel, shop, furniture shop together. well, we do everytin together!   

Dad Leong can’t live without Golf and bowling. Every weekend and public holidays, he’s nowhere found in S’pore. And while dad golfs away his time, Mum Leong goes " SPAing" and " MANICURing" and " RobinsonS SHOPping". Hubby n i kinda enjoy our freedom since they r bz entertaining themselves. However, somehow, it took me a while to adjust to their family pattern. Eg: Dad sends Mum to Paragon for spa and shopping. Drives off to the driving range to hit some balls. Hubby takes over the car and we 2 go PLAYplay around S’pore! In the evening, we’ll pick them all up for dinner! The way they work, it’s SOmetin foreign to me. Indeed, each family is Sooo diff. I wonder how my Own family will b next time!

Somehow, u 4get all the quarrels u had during the good times! haha. Love is really a bed of roses with lotsa occasional thorns. Indeed the fights we had had brought us even closer together.With more pain comes more luv!

I thought i’m quite a flower person. quite consistent with my taste. Look at my current bedroom!

Surprisely, there won’t b much "blooms" in my new place. My hubby luvs the blacks n greys. So, we’re going along wif this concept. Hubby a risk-taker. So 4 the new house, we’re doing tingz a little diff. Either u luv it or hate it! Hope everything turns out fine!
